At ChromeFix we offer a range finishes apart from Chrome Plating which includes Brass plating, sealed with an electrophoretic lacquer, so the brass plated parts are dipped in a tank of lacquer and the lacquer is applied electronically, similar to electroplating. The Lacquer is then baked at 150c in our conveyor oven for a durable finish.

We are always learning and creating new shades to add to our vast range of plated finishes as we work with our clients to match their latest samples for their next product, each process from prep polishing to electroplating and lacquering is done differently do achieve the end result and shade. Most of our finishes are sealed with electrophoretic lacquer however we also use satin and matt spray lacquer, wax is also used for our antique finishes.

For metal prep work we use industrial polishing lathes and advanced flexi arm machines for grinding and polishing for detailed prep work.
We have a fully equipped facility from metal prep to electroplating and lacquering all under our 14000 sqft site. We can plate the majority of our finishes in lengths of up to 3 metres long.
We can plate on to all types of metals including Mild steel, Stainless Steel, Brass, Die cast and yes even Aluminium. We have a dedicated pre-treatment plant for Aluminium which enables us to achieve high quality plating on Aluminium. There are not many plating companies which can plate on Aluminium as it is often very difficult to plate.
